So whats the car called? Susan Bulsar? Nizuki Puleno?  :o

Anyway just joking. That sounds like a killer conversion. Post picks soon so if I see it I can stop and have a drink till it passes  ;D

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I have this next customer and he wants a Turbo Starlet engine in his Honda CRX, how about that guys  [question]
Also have a Caldina with a Turbo Starlet engine making 190whp and the owner now wants 300whp for serious road work, JE pistons, T3/4 turbo, e-manage etc...

Well it's food for thought, I went down to MAX CAR CONVERSION and saw the Baleno with the pulsar engine. He did a good work fitting it within the engine bay however i'm not sure about the body and the overdid bonnet that i'm seeing [sick]. Well for the record I have a 1600cc auto Baleno and i'm weighing all the options in terms of Turbo/NOS kit/1.8L engine...all in the name of gaining Horsepower that i so desperatly need [worried] :(

Okay folks pictures are here! [kick]

Now remember this is a work in progress. Car is not complete with the fibreglass work (The body work man has taken much longer than anyone expected but since it was the owners choice of bodywork man Victor is'nt at fault) but engine needed to be fitted up and suspension work done.   I'm sure Victor will come in and explain the finer details when he gets a chance. Must say although he had to modify the GtiR mounts to fit the baleno chasis it came out very clean... a very nice fit... like it was meant to be   [bb]

Coming soon to a street near you...I present the Pulsar GtiR SR20Det powered Suzuki Baleno  [wave]

One of the special mounting plates fabricated to get the beast into the belly... keeping it in the right position..not too far forward and not too far back.

You can also see the clearance from the firewall... room to breathe  [king]

I could'nt go under the car to shoot the other mounts or the speacial braces and struts fabricated to keep things nice and tight  [sneaky]

You can also start to see the suspension under way to support the heavier weight and to get the power down. Brake upgrade is a coming  [thumbsup]

i just hope the engine mounts are strong enough so as not to cause the engine to flex too much on the firewwawll.

i like it ...
the air box..

The vented fume from the breathers can be sucked back into the engine for greater efficiency...... the only draw back is that some of that fumes  contain oil vapour which increases the chance of detonation, as yuo are adding oil vapour to the air which affects the air/fuel mixture.

But i still like it !  [2thumbsup]
